Nor take life - which Allah has made sacred - except for just cause. And if anyone is slain wrongfully, we have given his heir authority (to demand qisas or to forgive): but let him not exceed bounds in the matter of taking life; for he is helped (by the Law).

They said: "Swear a mutual oath by Allah that we shall make a secret night attack on him and his people, and that we shall then say to his heir (when he seeks vengeance): 'We were not present at the slaughter of his people, and we are positively telling the truth.'"

你们不要违背真主的禁令而杀人，除非因为正义。无辜而被杀者，我已把权柄授予他的亲戚，但他们不可滥杀，他们确是受援助的。

他们说：“你们指真主互相盟誓吧！”他们说：“我们必在夜间谋害他，和他的信徒。然后，我们必对他的主说：'他的信徒遇害的时候，我们没有在场，我们确是诚实的人。”
