Soon shall We cast terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers, for that they joined companions with Allah, for which He had sent no authority: their abode will be the Fire: And evil is the home of the wrong-doers!

Others you will find that wish to gain your confidence as well as that of their people: Every time they are sent back to temptation, they succumb thereto: if they withdraw not from you nor give you (guarantees) of peace besides restraining their hands, seize them and slay them wherever ye get them: In their case We have provided you with a clear argument against them.

O ye who believe! Take not for friends unbelievers rather than believers: Do ye wish to offer Allah an open proof against yourselves?

The people of the Book ask thee to cause a book to descend to them from heaven: Indeed they asked Moses for an even greater (miracle), for they said: "Show us Allah in public," but they were dazed for their presumption, with thunder and lightning. Yet they worshipped the calf even after clear signs had come to them; even so we forgave them; and gave Moses manifest proofs of authority.

"How should I fear (the beings) ye associate with Allah, when ye fear not to give partners to Allah without any warrant having been given to you? Which of (us) two parties hath more right to security? (tell me) if ye know.

Say: the things that my Lord hath indeed forbidden are: shameful deeds, whether open or secret; sins and trespasses against truth or reason; assigning of partners to Allah, for which He hath given no authority; and saying things about Allah of which ye have no knowledge.

Nor take life - which Allah has made sacred - except for just cause. And if anyone is slain wrongfully, we have given his heir authority (to demand qisas or to forgive): but let him not exceed bounds in the matter of taking life; for he is helped (by the Law).

Say: "O my Lord! Let my entry be by the Gate of Truth and Honour, and likewise my exit by the Gate of Truth and Honour; and grant me from Thy Presence an authority to aid (me)."

Yet they worship, besides Allah, things for which no authority has been sent down to them, and of which they have (really) no knowledge: for those that do wrong there is no helper.

He said: "We will certainly strengthen thy arm through thy brother, and invest you both with authority, so they shall not be able to touch you: with Our Sign shall ye triumph,- you two as well as those who follow you."

Or have We sent down authority to them, which points out to them the things to which they pay part-worship?

我要把恐怖投在不信道者的心中，因为他们把真主和真主所未证实的（偶像）去配他，他们的归宿是火狱。不义者的归宿真恶劣。

你们将发现别的许多人，想从你们获得安全，也想从他们的宗族获得安全；他们每逢被召于迫害，他们都冒昧地参加。如果他们不退避你们，不投降你们，不停止作战，那末，你们在那里发现他们，就当在那里捕杀他们。这等人，对于制裁他们，我已经把一个明证授予你们了。

信道的人们啊！你们不要舍信道者而以不信道者为盟友， 你们欲为真主立一个不利于你们的明证吗？

信奉天经的人，请求你从天上降示他们一部经典。他们确已向穆萨请求过比这更重大的事，他们说：“你使我们亲眼看见真主吧。”急雷为他们的不义而袭击他们。在许多明证降临他们之后，他们又认犊为神，但我已恕饶这件事。 这曾赏赐穆萨一个明显的证据。

你们把真主和他所未证实的（偶像）去配他，还无所畏惧，我怎么会畏惧你们所用来配主的（偶像）呢！如果你们有知识，那末，我们这两伙人，究竟是那一伙更应当不畏惧呢？”

你说：“我的主只禁止一切明显的和隐微的丑事，和罪恶，和无理的侵害，以及用真主所未证实的事物配真主，假借真主的名义而妄言自己所不知道的事情。”

你们不要违背真主的禁令而杀人，除非因为正义。无辜而被杀者，我已把权柄授予他的亲戚，但他们不可滥杀，他们确是受援助的。

你说：“我的主啊！求你使我顺利而入，求你使我顺利而出，求你赏赐我从你那里发出的权柄，以作我的辅弼。”

他们舍真主而崇拜真主所未证实的，也非他们所知道的偶像； 不义的人绝没有任何援助者。

真主说：“我将以你的哥哥助你一臂之力，我要给你们俩一种权力，所以他们不能伤害你们俩。你们俩和顺从你们俩的，将借我的迹象而为胜利者。”

难道我曾降示他们一个明证，命令他们以物配主吗？
