"For Allah, He is my Lord and your Lord: so worship ye Him: this is a Straight Way."

Enveloping the people: this will be a Penalty Grievous.

"Truly this is what ye used to doubt!"

This is (true) Guidance and for those who reject the Signs of their Lord, is a grievous Penalty of abomination.

These are clear evidences to men and a Guidance and Mercy to those of assured Faith.

"This Our Record speaks about you with truth: For We were wont to put on Record all that ye did."

It will also be said: "This Day We will forget you as ye forgot the meeting of this Day of yours! and your abode is the Fire, and no helpers have ye!

Say: "Do ye see what it is ye invoke besides Allah? Show me what it is they have created on earth, or have they a share in the heavens bring me a book (revealed) before this, or any remnant of knowledge (ye may have), if ye are telling the truth!

When Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them, the Unbelievers say, of the Truth when it comes to them: "This is evident sorcery!"

The Unbelievers say of those who believe: "If (this Message) were a good thing, (such men) would not have gone to it first, before us!" And seeing that they guide not themselves thereby, they will say, "this is an (old,) falsehood!"

But (there is one) who says to his parents, "Fie on you! Do ye hold out the promise to me that I shall be raised up, even though generations have passed before me (without rising again)?" And they two seek Allah's aid, (and rebuke the son): "Woe to thee! Have faith! for the promise of Allah is true." But he says, "This is nothing but tales of the ancients!"

Then, when they saw the (Penalty in the shape of) a cloud traversing the sky, coming to meet their valleys, they said, "This cloud will give us rain!" "Nay, it is the (Calamity) ye were asking to be hastened!- A wind wherein is a Grievous Penalty!

And on the Day that the Unbelievers will be placed before the Fire, (they will be asked,) "Is this not the Truth?" they will say, "Yea, by our Lord!" (One will say:) "Then taste ye the Penalty, for that ye were wont to deny (Truth)!"

But they wonder that there has come to them a Warner from among themselves. So the Unbelievers say: "This is a wonderful thing!

(It will be said:) "Thou wast heedless of this; now have We removed thy veil, and sharp is thy sight this Day!"

And his Companion will say: "Here is (his Record) ready with me!"

(A voice will say:) "This is what was promised for you,- for every one who turned (to Allah) in sincere repentance, who kept (His Law),

"Taste ye your trial! This is what ye used to ask to be hastened!"

"Is this then a fake, or is it ye that do not see?

This is a Warner, of the (series of) Warners of old!

Do ye then wonder at this recital?

Hastening, with eyes transfixed, towards the Caller!- "Hard is this Day!", the Unbelievers will say.

Such will be their entertainment on the Day of Requital!

Verily, this is the Very Truth and Certainly.

Had We sent down this Qur'an on a mountain, verily, thou wouldst have seen it humble itself and cleave asunder for fear of Allah. Such are the similitudes which We propound to men, that they may reflect.

And remember, Jesus, the son of Mary, said: "O Children of Israel! I am the messenger of Allah (sent) to you, confirming the Law (which came) before me, and giving Glad Tidings of a Messenger to come after me, whose name shall be Ahmad." But when he came to them with Clear Signs, they said, "this is evident sorcery!"

When the Prophet disclosed a matter in confidence to one of his consorts, and she then divulged it (to another), and Allah made it known to him, he confirmed part thereof and repudiated a part. Then when he told her thereof, she said, "Who told thee this? "He said, "He told me Who knows and is well-acquainted (with all things)."

Nay, who is there that can help you, (even as) an army, besides (Allah) Most Merciful? In nothing but delusion are the Unbelievers.

Or who is there that can provide you with Sustenance if He were to withhold His provision? Nay, they obstinately persist in insolent impiety and flight (from the Truth).

They ask: When will this promise be (fulfilled)? - If ye are telling the truth.

真主确是我的主，也是你们的主，所以你们应当崇拜他，这是正路。”

那烟雾将笼罩世人，他们说：“这是一种痛苦的刑罚。

这（刑罚）确是你们生前所怀疑的。”

这是正道，不信其主的迹象者将受痛苦的极刑。

这是世人的明证，也是对坚信的民众的引导和恩惠。

这是我立的功过簿，它对你们秉公作证。我确已下令记录你们的行为。

或者将对他们说：“今日，我忽视你们，如你们以前忽视今日的相会一样。你们的归宿是火狱，你们绝没有援助者。

你说：“你们告诉我吧！你们舍真主而祈祷的那些偶像怎么应受崇拜呢？你们告诉我吧！他们曾独自创造了大地的哪一部分呢？还是他们曾与真主共同创造诸天呢？你们昭示我此经之前的一本天经，或残存的古学吧，如果你们是说实话的。”

有人对他们诵读我的明显的迹象的时候，不信道的人们评论刚降临他们的真理说：“这是明显的魔术。”

不信道的人们评论信道的人们说：“假若那是一件善事，他们不得在我们之前信奉它。”他们没有因他而遵循正道，故他们的偏执已显著了，他们要说：“这是陈腐的妄言。”

有人对他的父母说：“唉！你们俩恫吓我说：我要复活吗？在我之前，有许多世代，确已逝去了。”他们俩向真主求援，并且说：“伤哉你！你信道吧，真主的应许，确是真实的！”他说：“这只是古人的故事。”

他们看见天边有一朵云，向着他们的山谷移动，他们说：“这朵云会降雨给我们。”不然，这是你们要求早日实现的，这是狂风，其中有痛苦的刑罚。

不信道的人们遭受火刑之日，或者将对他们说：“难道这刑罚不是真实的吗？”他们将说：“是真实的，以我们的主盟誓！”他将说：“你们尝试刑罚吧！因为你们没有信道。”

难道他们因同族的警告者来临他们而惊讶吗？不信道的人们说：“这是奇事！

你确忽视此事，现在我已揭开你的蒙蔽，所以你今日的眼光是锐利的。

他的伙伴将说：“这在我面前是现成的。”

这是你们所被应许的，这是赏赐每个归依的守礼者的。

你们尝试你们的刑罚吧！这就是你们要求早日实现的。

这是魔术呢？还是你们看不见呢？

这是古时的那些警告者之中的一个警告者。

难道你们为这训辞而诧异吗？

大家引颈而奔，群集于召唤者的面前。不信道的人们将说：“这是一个烦难的日子！”

这是他们在报应之日所受的款待。

这确是无可置疑的真理。

假若我把这部《古兰经》降示一座山，你必定看见那座山因畏惧真主而成为柔和的，崩溃的。这些譬喻，是我为众人而设的，以便他们省悟。

当时，麦尔彦之子尔撒曾说：“以色列的後裔啊！我确是真主派来教化你们的使者，他派我来证实在我之前的《讨拉特》，并且以在我之後诞生的使者，名叫艾哈默德的，向你们报喜。”当他已昭示他们许多明证的时候，他们说：“这是明显的魔术。”

当时，先知把一句话秘密地告欣他的一个妻子，她即转告了别人，而真主使先知知道他的秘密已被泄漏的时候，他使她认识一部分，而隐匿一部分。当他既以泄漏告诉她的时候，她说：“谁报告你这件事的？”他说：“是全知的、彻知的主告诉我的。”

除了真主援助你们外，还有谁能做你们的援军呢？你们只陷於自欺之中。

谁能供给你们呢？如果至仁主扣留他的给养。不然，他们固执著骄傲和勃逆。

他们说：“这个警告甚么时候实现呢？如果你们是诚实的人。”
