Say,
`In the Bounty of Allah
and in His Mercy
so in that
let them rejoice.`

His Bounty,
and they receive good tidings
about those who

that (there will be) no

will grieve.

it distresses them,
but if
befalls you
a calamity
they say,
`Verily,
we took
our matter
before.`
And they turn away
while they
(are) rejoicing.
But they cut off
their affair (of unity)
among them
(into) sects,
each
faction
in what
they have
rejoicing.
Of
those who
divide
their religion
and become
sects,
each
party
in what
they have
rejoicing.
Rejoice
those who remained behind
in their staying
behind
(the) Messenger
(of) Allah,
and they disliked
to
strive
with their wealth
and their lives
in
(the) way
(of) Allah
and they said,
`(Do) not
go forth
in
the heart.`
Say,
`(The) Fire
(of) Hell
(is) more intense
(in) heat.`
If (only)
they could
understand.
Then if
they turn away,
then not
We have sent you
over them
(as) a guardian.
Not
(is) on you
except
the conveyance.
And indeed,
when
We cause to taste
[the] man
from Us
Mercy,
he rejoices
in it.
But if
befalls them
evil,
for what
have sent forth
their hands
then indeed,
[the] man
(is) ungrateful.
So when
they forgot
what
they were reminded
of [it],
We opened
on them
gates
(of) every
thing,
until
when
they rejoiced
in what
they were given,
We seized them
suddenly
and then
they
(were) dumbfounded.
And when
We cause men to taste
mercy,
they rejoice
therein.
But if
afflicts them
an evil
for what
have sent forth
their hands,
behold!
They
despair.
Then when
came to them
their Messengers
with clear proofs
they rejoiced
in what
they had
of
the knowledge,
and enveloped
them
what
they used (to)
[at it]
mock.

enables you to travel

the land
and the sea,

you are
in
the ships
and they sail
with them
with a wind

and they rejoice

and comes to them
the waves
from
every
place,
and they assume
that they
are surrounded
with them.
They call
Allah
sincerely
to Him
(in) the religion,
(saying) `If
You save us
from
this,
surely we will be
among
the thankful.

the provision
for whom
He wills
and restricts.
And they rejoice
in the life
(of) the world
and nothing
(is) the life
of the world
in (comparison to)
the Hereafter,
except
an enjoyment.

Those who split up their Religion, and become (mere) Sects,- each party rejoicing in that which is with itself!
Those who were left behind (in the Tabuk expedition) rejoiced in their inaction behind the back of the Messenger of Allah: they hated to strive and fight, with their goods and their persons, in the cause of Allah: they said, "Go not forth in the heat." Say, "The fire of Hell is fiercer in heat." If only they could understand!
If then they run away, We have not sent thee as a guard over them. Thy duty is but to convey (the Message). And truly, when We give man a taste of a Mercy from Ourselves, he doth exult thereat, but when some ill happens to him, on account of the deeds which his hands have sent forth, truly then is man ungrateful!
But when they forgot the warning they had received, We opened to them the gates of all (good) things, until, in the midst of their enjoyment of Our gifts, on a sudden, We called them to account, when lo! they were plunged in despair!

Within a few years. With Allah is the Decision, in the past and in the Future: on that Day shall the Believers rejoice-

使者出征后，在后方的人因能安坐家中而高兴。他们不愿以自己的财产和生命为主道而奋斗，他们互相嘱咐说：“你们不要在热天出征。”你说：“火狱的火是更炽热的，假若他们是明理的。”
如果他们退避，那末，我没有派你做他们的监护者，你只负通知的责任。我使人类尝试从我发出的恩惠的时候，他们因恩惠而快乐；他们因为曾经犯罪而遭难的时候，人类确是孤恩的。
当他们忘却自己所受的劝告的时候，我为他们开辟一切福利之门，直到他们因自己所受的赏赐而狂喜的时候，我忽然惩治他们，而他们立刻变成沮丧的。

真主使他所意欲者享受宽裕的给养或窘迫的给养。他们因今世的生活而欢喜，然而今世的生活比起后世的生活来，只是一种（暂时）的享受。
于数年之间。以前和以后，凡事归真主主持。在那日，信道的人将要欢喜。
你们获得福利，他们就忧愁；你们遭遇祸患，他们就快乐。如果你们坚忍而且敬畏，那末，他们的计谋不能伤你们一丝毫。真主确是周知他们的行为的。
