And never
(will) be pleased
with you
the Jews
and [not]
the Christians
until
you follow
their religion.
Say,
'Indeed,
the Guidance of Allah,
it
(is) the Guidance.'
And if
you follow
their desires
after
what
has come to you
of
the knowledge,
not
for you
from
Allah
any
protector
and not
any helper.
And even if
you come
(to) those who
were given
the Book
with all
the signs,
not
they would follow
your direction of prayer,
and not
(will) you be
a followere
(of) their direction of prayer.
And not
some of them
(are) followeres
(of the) direction of prayer
(of each) other.
And if
you followed
their desires
after
[what]
came to you
of
the knowledge,
Indeed, you
(would) then
(be) surely among
the wrongdoers.
And said
to them
their Prophet,
'Indeed,
Allah
(has) surely
raised
for you
Talut
(as) a king.'
They said,
How can be
for him
the kingship
over us,
while we
(are) more entitled
to kingship
than him,
and he has not been given
abundance
of
[the] wealth?'
He said,
'Indeed,
Allah
has chosen him
over you
and increased him
abundantly
in
[the] knowledge
and [the] physique.
and Allah
gives
His kingdom
(to) whom
He wills.
And Allah
(is) All-Encompassing.
All-Knowing.'
He
(is) the One Who
revealed
to you
the Book,
of it
(are) Verses
absolutely clear -
they are
the foundation
(of) the Book,
and others
(are) allegorical.
Then as for
those
in
[their] (whose) hearts
(is) perversity -
[so] they follow
what
(is) allegory
of it,
seeking
[the] discord
and seeking
its interpretation.
And none
knows
its interpretation
except
Allah.
And those firm
in
[the] knowledge,
they say,
`We believe
in it.
All
from
our Lord.`
And none
will get admonished
except
men of understanding.
Allah bears witness
that [He],
(there is) no
god
except
Him,
and (so do) the Angels,
and owners
of [the] knowledge -
standing
in justice,
(There is) no
god
except
Him,
the All-Mighty,
the All-Wise.
Then whoever
argues (with) you
concerning it
after
what
came to you
of
the knowledge
then say,
`Come,
let us call
our sons
and your sons,
and our women
and your women,
and ourselves
and yourselves,
then
let us pray humbly,
and [we] invoke
the curse
(of) Allah
on
the liars.
But
the ones who are firm
in
the knowledge
among them
and the believers
believe
in what
(is) revealed
to you
and what
was revealed
before you.
And the ones who establish
the prayer
and the ones who give
the zakah
and the ones who believe
in Allah
and the Day
the Last -
those,
We will give them
a great reward.
And thus
We have revealed it
(to be) a judgement of authority
(in) Arabic.
And if
you follow
their desires
after
what
came to you
of
the knowledge,
not
for you
against
Allah
any
protector
and not
defender.
And they ask you
concerning
the soul.
Say,
`The soul
(is) of
(the) affair
(of) my Lord.
And not
you have been given
of
the knowledge
except
a little.`
O my father!
Indeed, [I]
verily
(has) come to me
of
the knowledge
what
not
came to you,
so follow me;
I will guide you
(to) the path
even.
Then when
came to them
their Messengers
with clear proofs
they rejoiced
in what
they had
of
the knowledge,
and enveloped
them
what
they used (to)
[at it]
mock.
That
(is) their sum
of
knowledge.
Indeed,
your Lord
(is) He (Who)
knows best
(he) who
strays
from
His Path,
and He
knows best
(he) who
is guided.
Never will the Jews or the Christians be satisfied with thee unless thou follow their form of religion. Say: "The Guidance of Allah,-that is the (only) Guidance." Wert thou to follow their desires after the knowledge which hath reached thee, then wouldst thou find neither Protector nor helper against Allah.
Even if thou wert to bring to the people of the Book all the Signs (together), they would not follow Thy Qibla; nor art thou going to follow their Qibla; nor indeed will they follow each other's Qibla. If thou after the knowledge hath reached thee, Wert to follow their (vain) desires,-then wert thou Indeed (clearly) in the wrong.
Their Prophet said to them: "Allah hath appointed Talut as king over you." They said: "How can he exercise authority over us when we are better fitted than he to exercise authority, and he is not even gifted, with wealth in abundance?" He said: "Allah hath Chosen him above you, and hath gifted him abundantly with knowledge and bodily prowess: Allah Granteth His authority to whom He pleaseth. Allah careth for all, and He knoweth all things."
He it is Who has sent down to thee the Book: In it are verses basic or fundamental (of established meaning); they are the foundation of the Book: others are allegorical. But those in whose hearts is perversity follow the part thereof that is allegorical, seeking discord, and searching for its hidden meanings, but no one knows its hidden meanings except Allah. And those who are firmly grounded in knowledge say: "We believe in the Book; the whole of it is from our Lord:" and none will grasp the Message except men of understanding.
There is no god but He: That is the witness of Allah, His angels, and those endued with knowledge, standing firm on justice. There is no god but He, the Exalted in Power, the Wise.
If any one disputes in this matter with thee, now after (full) knowledge Hath come to thee, say: "Come! let us gather together,- our sons and your sons, our women and your women, ourselves and yourselves: Then let us earnestly pray, and invoke the curse of Allah on those who lie!"
But those among them who are well-grounded in knowledge, and the believers, believe in what hath been revealed to thee and what was revealed before thee: And (especially) those who establish regular prayer and practise regular charity and believe in Allah and in the Last Day: To them shall We soon give a great reward.
Thus have We revealed it to be a judgment of authority in Arabic. Wert thou to follow their (vain) desires after the knowledge which hath reached thee, then wouldst thou find neither protector nor defender against Allah.
They ask thee concerning the Spirit (of inspiration). Say: "The Spirit (cometh) by command of my Lord: of knowledge it is only a little that is communicated to you, (O men!)"
"O my father! to me hath come knowledge which hath not reached thee: so follow me: I will guide thee to a way that is even and straight.
For when their messengers came to them with Clear Signs, they exulted in such knowledge (and skill) as they had; but that very (Wrath) at which they were wont to scoff hemmed them in.
That is as far as knowledge will reach them. Verily thy Lord knoweth best those who stray from His Path, and He knoweth best those who receive guidance.
犹太教徒和基督教徒绝不喜欢你，直到你顺从他们的宗教。你说：“真主的指导，确是指导。”在知识降临你之後，如果你顺从他们的私欲，那末，你绝无任何保护者或援助者，以反抗真主。
即使你以一切迹象昭示曾受天经者，他们必不顺从你的朝向，你也绝不顺从他们的朝向；他们各守自己的朝向，互不相从。在知识降临你之後，如果你顺从他们的私欲，那末，你必定是不义者。
他们的先知对他们说：“真主确已为你们立塔鲁特为国王了。”他们说：“他怎麽配做我们的国王呢？我们是比他更配做国王的，况且他没有丰富的财产。”他说：“真主确已选他为你们的领袖，并且加赐他渊博的学识和健壮的体魄。”真主常常把国权赏赐自己所意欲的人。真主是宽大的，全知的。
他降示你这部经典，其中有许多明确的节文，是全经的基本；还有别的许多隐微的节文。心存邪念的人，遵从隐微的节文，企图淆惑人心，探求经义的究竟。只有真主和学问文精通的人才知道经义的究竟。他们说：“我们已确信它，明确的和隐微的，都是从我们的主那里降示的。惟有理智的人，才会觉悟。
真主秉公作证：除他外，绝无应受崇拜的；众天神和一般学者，也这样作证：除他外，绝无应受崇拜的，他是万能的，是至睿的。
在知识降临你之后，凡与你争论此事的人，你都可以对他们说：“你们来吧！让我们召集我们各自的孩子，我们的妇女和你们的妇女，我们的自身和你们的自身，然后让我们祈祷真主弃绝说谎的人。”
但他们中学问渊博的，确信正道的----确信降示你的经典，和在你之前所降示的经典----和谨守拜功的，完纳天课的，和确信真主与末日的人，这等人， 我将赏赐他们重大的报酬。
我这样把它降示为阿拉伯文的智慧。在知识降临你之后，如果你顺从他们的欲望，那末，你对真主的（惩罚）绝无任何保护者，也绝无任何保卫者。
他们问你精神是什么？你说：“精神是我的主的机密。”你们只获得很少的知识。
我的父亲啊！没有降临你的知识，确已降临我了；你顺从我吧，我要指示你一条正路。
当他们族中的众使者昭示他们许多明证的时候，他们因自己所有的学问而洋洋得意，他们所嘲笑的刑罚，遂降临他们。
那是他们的知识程度。你的主，确是全知背离正道者的，也是全知遵循正道者的。
