And remember We said: "Enter this town, and eat of the plenty therein as ye wish; but enter the gate with humility, in posture and in words, and We shall forgive you your faults and increase (the portion of) those who do good."

Rescue us from this town, whose people are oppressors; and raise for us from thee one who will protect; and raise for us from thee one who will help!"

Ask them concerning the town standing close by the sea. Behold! they transgressed in the matter of the Sabbath. For on the day of their Sabbath their fish did come to them, openly holding up their heads, but on the day they had no Sabbath, they came not: thus did We make a trial of them, for they were given to transgression.

And to Lut, too, We gave Judgment and Knowledge, and We saved him from the town which practised abominations: truly they were a people given to Evil, a rebellious people.

你向他们询问那个滨海城市的情况吧。当时他们在安息日违法乱纪。当时，每逢他们守安息日的时候，鱼儿就浮游到他们面前来；每逢他们不守安息日的时候，鱼儿就不到他们的面前来。由于他们不义的行为，我才这样考验他们。

我赏赐鲁特智慧和学识，我拯救他脱离有秽行的城市， 那个城市的居民确是放荡的恶民。

他们确已经历那遭恶雨的城市，难道他们没有看见它吗？不然， 他们不希望复活。

当我的使者带着佳音来访易卜拉欣的时候，他们说：“我们必定毁灭这个城市的居民。这个城市的居民，确是不义的。”

我必使天灾从天空降于这个城市的居民，那是由于他们的放荡。
