And certainly
came
Our Messengers
(to) Ibrahim
with glad tidings,
they said,
`Peace.`
He said,
`Peace.`
and not he delayed
to
bring
a calf
roasted.
And when
came
Our Messengers
(to) Ibrahim
with the glad tidings
they said,
`Indeed, we
(are) going to destroy
(the) people
(of) this
town.
Indeed,
its people
are
wrongdoers.`
There came Our messengers to Abraham with glad tidings. They said, "Peace!" He answered, "Peace!" and hastened to entertain them with a roasted calf.
When Our Messengers came to Abraham with the good news, they said: "We are indeed going to destroy the people of this township: for truly they are (addicted to) crime."
我的众使者确已带著喜讯降临易卜拉欣，他们说：“祝你平安！”他说：“祝你们平安。”他很快就拿来一只烤犊来。
当我的使者带着佳音来访易卜拉欣的时候，他们说：“我们必定毁灭这个城市的居民。这个城市的居民，确是不义的。”
