A believer, a man from among the people of Pharaoh, who had concealed his faith, said: "Will ye slay a man because he says, 'My Lord is Allah'?- when he has indeed come to you with Clear (Signs) from your Lord? and if he be a liar, on him is (the sin of) his lie: but, if he is telling the Truth, then will fall on you something of the (calamity) of which he warns you: Truly Allah guides not one who transgresses and lies!

How shall the message be (effectual) for them, seeing that an Messenger explaining things clearly has (already) come to them,-

But (there is one) who says to his parents, "Fie on you! Do ye hold out the promise to me that I shall be raised up, even though generations have passed before me (without rising again)?" And they two seek Allah's aid, (and rebuke the son): "Woe to thee! Have faith! for the promise of Allah is true." But he says, "This is nothing but tales of the ancients!"

Mention (Hud) one of 'Ad's (own) brethren: Behold, he warned his people about the winding Sand-tracts: but there have been warners before him and after him: "Worship ye none other than Allah: Truly I fear for you the Penalty of a Mighty Day."

He will say: "Dispute not with each other in My Presence: I had already in advance sent you Warning.

What cause have ye why ye should not believe in Allah?- and the Messenger invites you to believe in your Lord, and has indeed taken your Covenant, if ye are men of Faith.

Those who resist Allah and His Messenger will be humbled to dust, as were those before them: for We have already sent down Clear Signs. And the Unbelievers (will have) a humiliating Penalty,-

O ye who believe! Take not my enemies and yours as friends (or protectors),- offering them (your) love, even though they have rejected the Truth that has come to you, and have (on the contrary) driven out the Prophet and yourselves (from your homes), (simply) because ye believe in Allah your Lord! If ye have come out to strive in My Way and to seek My Good Pleasure, (take them not as friends), holding secret converse of love (and friendship) with them: for I know full well all that ye conceal and all that ye reveal. And any of you that does this has strayed from the Straight Path.

And remember, Moses said to his people: "O my people! why do ye vex and insult me, though ye know that I am the messenger of Allah (sent) to you?" Then when they went wrong, Allah let their hearts go wrong. For Allah guides not those who are rebellious transgressors.

Their eyes will be cast down,- ignominy will cover them; seeing that they had been summoned aforetime to bow in adoration, while they were whole, (and had refused).

"'Seeing that it is He that has created you in diverse stages?

"They have already misled many; and grant Thou no increase to the wrong-doers but in straying (from their mark)."

And he fails that corrupts it!

法老族中一个秘密归信的信士说：“一个人把从你们的主发出的明证昭示你们，并说'我的主是真主'，你们就要杀戮他吗？如果他是一个说谎者，那末，他自受谎言之害；如果他是一个诚实者，那末，他所用以恫吓你们的灾难，将有一部分来临你们，真主必定不引导过分的常说谎言者。

他们怎能觉悟呢？显赫的使者，确已来临他们，

有人对他的父母说：“唉！你们俩恫吓我说：我要复活吗？在我之前，有许多世代，确已逝去了。”他们俩向真主求援，并且说：“伤哉你！你信道吧，真主的应许，确是真实的！”他说：“这只是古人的故事。”

你纪念阿德人的弟兄吧！当时，他在沙丘警告他的宗族--在他以前和以后，有许多警告者，确已逝去了--他说：“你们应该只崇拜真主，我的确怕你们遭受重大日的刑罚。”

主将说：“你们不要在我面前争论，我确已预先警告你们了。

你们怎么不信仰真主呢？使者号召你们去信仰你们的主，而你们的主，确已和你们缔约，如果你们要信道，就赶快信吧！

违抗真主和使者的人，必遭折磨，犹如他们以前的人曾遭折磨一样。我确已降示许多明证，不信者，将受凌辱的刑罚。

信道的人们啊！你们不要以我的敌人和你们的敌人为朋友，而传送消息给他们，以示亲爱。他们不信降临你们的真理，他们为你们信仰真主--你们的主--而将使者和你们驱逐出境。如果你们从故乡迁出，是由於为我而奋斗，是由於寻求我的喜悦，（那么，你们不要以他们为朋友）。你们秘密地传送消息给他们，以示亲爱，其实，我知道你们所隐匿的和你们所显示的。你们中谁做这件事，谁已背离正道。

当时，穆萨曾对他的宗族说：“我的宗族啊！你们既知道我是真主派来教化你们的使者，你们为什麽诽谤我呢？”当他们背离正道的时候，真主使他们的心背离真理；真主是不引导悖逆的民众的。

同时，他们身遭凌辱，不敢仰视。而过去他们健全的时候，曾被召去叩头。

他确已经过几个阶段创造了你们。

他们确已使许多人迷误，求你使不义的人们更加迷误。”

凡戕害自己的性灵者，必定失败。
