And remember, We delivered you from the people of Pharaoh: They set you hard tasks and punishments, slaughtered your sons and let your women-folk live; therein was a tremendous trial from your Lord.

(Their plight will be) no better than that of the people of Pharaoh, and their predecessors: They denied our Signs, and Allah called them to account for their sins. For Allah is strict in punishment.

And remember We rescued you from Pharaoh's people, who afflicted you with the worst of penalties, who slew your male children and saved alive your females: in that was a momentous trial from your Lord.

"(Deeds) after the manner of the people of Pharaoh and of those before them: They rejected the Signs of Allah, and Allah punished them for their crimes: for Allah is Strong, and Strict in punishment:

(Deeds) after the manner of the people of Pharaoh and those before them": They treated as false the Signs of their Lord: so We destroyed them for their crimes, and We drowned the people of Pharaoh: for they were all oppressors and wrong-doers.

"Thus will thy Lord choose thee and teach thee the interpretation of stories (and events) and perfect His favour to thee and to the posterity of Jacob - even as He perfected it to thy fathers Abraham and Isaac aforetime! for Allah is full of knowledge and wisdom."

Remember! Moses said to his people: "Call to mind the favour of Allah to you when He delivered you from the people of Pharaoh: they set you hard tasks and punishments, slaughtered your sons, and let your women-folk live: therein was a tremendous trial from your Lord."

"(One that) will (truly) represent me, and represent the posterity of Jacob; and make him, O my Lord! one with whom Thou art well-pleased!"

A believer, a man from among the people of Pharaoh, who had concealed his faith, said: "Will ye slay a man because he says, 'My Lord is Allah'?- when he has indeed come to you with Clear (Signs) from your Lord? and if he be a liar, on him is (the sin of) his lie: but, if he is telling the Truth, then will fall on you something of the (calamity) of which he warns you: Truly Allah guides not one who transgresses and lies!

当时，我拯救你们脱离了法老的百姓。他们使你们遭受酷刑；屠杀你们的儿子，留存你们的女子；这是从你们的主降下的大难。

（他们的情状），犹如法老的百姓和他们以前的各民族的情状一样；他们否认真主的迹象，故真主因他们的罪恶而惩治他们。真主的刑罚是严厉的。

当时，我使你们脱离法老的臣民，他们使你们遭受酷刑，屠杀你们的儿子，保全你们的女子。此中有从你们的主降下的大难。

（他们的常态）犹如法老的百姓和以前的民族的常态一样，他们不信真主的迹象，故真主因他们的罪行而惩治他们。真主确是全能的，他的刑罚确是严厉的。

（他们的常态）犹如法老的百姓和以前的民族的常态一样，他们否认自己的主的迹象。故我因他们的罪恶而毁灭他们，把法老的百姓淹死在海里，他们原是不义者。

你的主这样拣选你，他教你圆梦，他要完成对你和对叶尔孤白的后裔的恩典，犹如他以前曾完成对你的祖先易卜拉欣和易司哈格的恩典一样，你的主确是全知的，确是至睿的。

当时，穆萨曾对他的宗族说：“你们应当铭记真主赐给你们的恩典，他曾使你们脱离法老的臣民。他们使你们遭受酷刑，屠杀你们的男子，留下你们的女子，此中有从你们的主降下的大难。”

来继承我，并继承叶尔孤白的部分后裔。我的主啊！求你使他成为可喜的。”

法老族中一个秘密归信的信士说：“一个人把从你们的主发出的明证昭示你们，并说'我的主是真主'，你们就要杀戮他吗？如果他是一个说谎者，那末，他自受谎言之害；如果他是一个诚实者，那末，他所用以恫吓你们的灾难，将有一部分来临你们，真主必定不引导过分的常说谎言者。
