But those who have earned evil will have a reward of like evil: ignominy will cover their (faces): No defender will they have from (the wrath of) Allah: Their faces will be covered, as it were, with pieces from the depth of the darkness of night: they are companions of the Fire: they will abide therein (for aye)!

When a wave covers them like the canopy (of clouds), they call to Allah, offering Him sincere devotion. But when He has delivered them safely to land, there are among them those that halt between (right and wrong). But none reject Our Signs except only a perfidious ungrateful (wretch)!

Do they then feel secure from the coming against them of the covering veil of the wrath of Allah,- or of the coming against them of the (final) Hour all of a sudden while they perceive not?

Then seest thou such a one as takes as his god his own vain desire? They say (to themselves): "If we had had anything to do with this affair, We should not have been in the slaughter here." Say: "Even if you had remained in your homes, those for whom death was decreed would certainly have gone forth to the place of their death"; but (all this was) that Allah might test what is in your breasts and purge what is in your hearts. For Allah knoweth well the secrets of your hearts.

难道他们不怕真主惩罚中的大灾降临他们，或复活时在他们不知不觉之中，突然降临他们吗？

你告诉我吧！以私欲为主宰的人，真主使他明知故违地迷误，并封闭他的耳和心，在他的眼上加翳膜；真主使他迷误之后，谁还能引导他呢？难道你们不觉悟吗？

真主已封闭他们的心和耳，他们的眼上有翳膜；他们将受重大的刑罚。

大灾的消息，确已降临你了，

信道的人们说：“怎么不降示一章经呢？”当一章明确的经文降下，而其中提及战争的时候，你会看到心中有病的人们将象临死时昏晕的人那样瞪着眼看你。伤哉他们！
