And those who believe will say: "Are these the men who swore their strongest oaths by Allah, that they were with you?" All that they do will be in vain, and they will fall into (nothing but) ruin.

Who doth more wrong than those who invent a life against Allah? They will be turned back to the presence of their Lord, and the witnesses will say, "These are the ones who lied against their Lord! Behold! the Curse of Allah is on those who do wrong!-

And the Unbelievers say: "Why is not a sign sent down to him from his Lord?" But thou art truly a warner, and to every people a guide.

The Unbelievers say: "Why is not a sign sent down to him from his Lord?" Say: "Truly Allah leaveth, to stray, whom He will; But He guideth to Himself those who turn to Him in penitence,-

The Unbelievers say: "No messenger art thou." Say: "Enough for a witness between me and you is Allah, and such as have knowledge of the Book."

Then, on the Day of Judgment, He will cover them with shame, and say: "Where are My 'partners' concerning whom ye used to dispute (with the godly)?" Those endued with knowledge will say: "This Day, indeed, are the Unbelievers covered with shame and misery,-

So his fruits (and enjoyment) were encompassed (with ruin), and he remained twisting and turning his hands over what he had spent on his property, which had (now) tumbled to pieces to its very foundations, and he could only say, "Woe is me! Would I had never ascribed partners to my Lord and Cherisher!"

Man says: "What! When I am dead, shall I then be raised up alive?"

On the Day that the Punishment shall cover them from above them and from below them, and (a Voice) shall say: "Taste ye (the fruits) of your deeds!"

Those who believe say, "Why is not a sura sent down (for us)?" But when a sura of basic or categorical meaning is revealed, and fighting is mentioned therein, thou wilt see those in whose hearts is a disease looking at thee with a look of one in swoon at the approach of death. But more fitting for them-

Verily, We have warned you of a Penalty near, the Day when man will see (the deeds) which his hands have sent forth, and the Unbeliever will say, "Woe unto me! Would that I were (metre) dust!"

信道的人说：“这等人，就是指真主而发出最严重的盟誓，自称与你们同教的人吗﹖”他们的善功，已完全无效，故他们已变成亏折的人。

假借真主的名义而造谣的人，谁比他们还不义呢？这等人将受他们的主的检阅，而见证者们将来要说：“这些人是假借他们的主的名义造谣的。”真的，真主的诅咒是要加于不义的人们的。

不信道者说：“为什么没有一种迹象，从他的主降临他呢？”你只是一个警告者，每个民族都有一个引导者。

不信道的人们说：“怎么没有一种迹象从他的主降临他呢？”你说：“真主必定使他所意欲者误入迷途，必定使归依他的人走上正路。”

不信道者将要知道，今世的善果将归谁所有。不信道的人们说：“你不是使者。”你说：“真主足以为我和你们之间的见证，认识天经的人也足以为我和你们之间的见证。”

然后在复活日他要凌辱他们，并审问他们说：“我那些伙伴--你们为了他们而与信士们相争论的--如今在哪里呢？”有学识者将要说：“凌辱和刑罚今日必归于不信道者。”

他的财产，全遭毁灭。园里的葡萄架倒塌在地上，他为痛惜建设园圃的费用而反覆翻转他的两掌，他说：“但愿我没有把任何物配我的主。”

人说：“我死后必要复活吗？”

在那日，刑罚将从他们的头上和脚下降临他们。他说：“你们尝试你们的行为的果报吧！”

信道的人们说：“怎么不降示一章经呢？”当一章明确的经文降下，而其中提及战争的时候，你会看到心中有病的人们将象临死时昏晕的人那样瞪着眼看你。伤哉他们！

我的确警告你们一种临近的刑罚，在那日，各人将要看见自己所已做的工作，不信道的人们将要说：“啊！但愿我原是尘土。”
