For those who followed the Jewish Law, We forbade every (animal) with undivided hoof, and We forbade them that fat of the ox and the sheep, except what adheres to their backs or their entrails, or is mixed up with a bone: this in recompense for their wilful disobedience: for We are true (in Our ordinances).

It is He Who created you from a single person, and made his mate of like nature, in order that he might dwell with her (in love). When they are united, she bears a light burden and carries it about (unnoticed). When she grows heavy, they both pray to Allah their Lord, (saying): "If Thou givest us a goodly child, we vow we shall (ever) be grateful."

我只禁戒犹太教徒吃－切有爪的禽兽，又禁戒他们吃牛羊的脂油，惟牛羊脊上或肠上或骨间的脂油除外。这是我因为他们的不义而加于他们的惩罚，我确是诚实的。

他从一个人创造你们，他使那个人的配偶与他同类，以便他依恋她。他和她交接后，她怀了一个轻飘飘的孕，她能照常度日，当她感觉身子重的时候，他俩祈祷真主--他俩的主--说：“如果你赏赐我们一个健全的儿子，我们一定感谢你。”
