(is) the One Who
expelled
those who
disbelieved
from
(the) People
(of) the Scripture
from
their homes
at (the) first
gathering.
Not
you think
that
they would leave,
and they thought
that [they]
would defend them
their fortresses
against
Allah.
But Allah came to them
from
where
not
they expected,
and He cast
into
their hearts
[the] terror,
they destroyed
their houses
with their hands
and the hands
(of) the believers.
So take a lesson,
O those endowed with insight!
Not
and not
forbidden,
And who
(is) more unjust
than one who
prevents
the masajid
(of) Allah
to be
mentioned
in them
His name,
and strives
for
their destruction?
Not
it is
for them
that
they enter them
except
(like) those in fear.
For them
the world
(is) disgrace
and for them
the Hereafter
(is) a punishment
great.
And what
prevented
the people
that
they believe
when
came to them
the guidance
except
that
they said,
`Has Allah sent
a human
Messenger?`
And nothing
prevents
that
they believe
when
has come to them
the guidance
and they ask forgiveness
(of) their Lord,
except
that
comes to them
(the) way
(of) the former people
comes to them
the punishment
before (them)?
And not
prevents them
that
(is) accepted
from them
their contributions
except
that they
disbelieve
in Allah
and in His Messenger,
and not
they come
to the prayer
except
while they
(are) lazy,
and not
they spend
except
while they
(are) unwilling.
(Allah) said,
`What
prevented you
that not
you prostrate
when
I commanded you?`
(Shaitaan) said,
`I am
better
than him.
You created me
from
fire
and You created him
from
clay.`
He said,
`O Harun!
What
prevent you,
when
you saw them
going astray,
He said,
'O Iblis!
What
prevent you
that
you (should) prostrate
to (one) whom
I created
with My Hands?
Are you arrogant
are you
the exalted ones.'
And not
stopped Us
that
We send
except
that
denied
them
the former people.
And We gave
Thamud
the she-camel
(as) a visible sign,
but they wronged
her.
And not
We send
except
(as) a warning.
Forbidder
of good,
transgressor
doubter,
A preventer,
of (the) good,
transgressor,
sinful,
And when
touches him
the good,
withholding,
So when
they returned
their father,
they said,
`O our father!
Has been denied
to us
the measure,
so send
with us
our brother
(that) we will get measure.
And indeed, we
for him
(will) surely (be) guardians.`
have they
(to) defend them
from

(to) help
themselves
and not
they
from Us
can be protected.
have they

Those who
are waiting
for you.
Then if
for you
a victory
from
they say,
`Were not
with you?`
But if
(there) was
for the disbelievers
a chance
they said,
`Did not
we have advantage
over you
and we protected you
from
the believers?`
And Allah
will judge
between you
(on) the Day
(of) the Resurrection,
and never will
Allah make
for the disbelievers
over
the believers
And they deny
[the] small kindness.
It is He Who got out the Unbelievers among the People of the Book from their homes at the first gathering (of the forces). Little did ye think that they would get out: And they thought that their fortresses would defend them from Allah! But the (Wrath of) Allah came to them from quarters from which they little expected (it), and cast terror into their hearts, so that they destroyed their dwellings by their own hands and the hands of the Believers, take warning, then, O ye with eyes (to see)!
Whose season is not limited, nor (supply) forbidden,
And who is more unjust than he who forbids that in places for the worship of Allah, Allah's name should be celebrated?-whose zeal is (in fact) to ruin them? It was not fitting that such should themselves enter them except in fear. For them there is nothing but disgrace in this world, and in the world to come, an exceeding torment.
What kept men back from belief when Guidance came to them, was nothing but this: they said, "Has Allah sent a man (like us) to be (His) Messenger?"
And what is there to keep back men from believing, now that Guidance has come to them, nor from praying for forgiveness from their Lord, but that (they ask that) the ways of the ancients be repeated with them, or the Wrath be brought to them face to face?
The only reasons why their contributions are not accepted are: that they reject Allah and His Messenger; that they come to prayer without earnestness; and that they offer contributions unwillingly.
(Allah) said: "What prevented thee from prostrating when I commanded thee?" He said: "I am better than he: Thou didst create me from fire, and him from clay."
(Moses) said: "O Aaron! what kept thee back, when thou sawest them going wrong,
(Allah) said: "O Iblis! What prevents thee from prostrating thyself to one whom I have created with my hands? Art thou haughty? Or art thou one of the high (and mighty) ones?"
And We refrain from sending the signs, only because the men of former generations treated them as false: We sent the she-camel to the Thamud to open their eyes, but they treated her wrongfully: We only send the Signs by way of terror (and warning from evil).
"Who forbade what was good, transgressed all bounds, cast doubts and suspicions;
(Habitually) hindering (all) good, transgressing beyond bounds, deep in sin,
And niggardly when good reaches him;-
Now when they returned to their father, they said: "O our father! No more measure of grain shall we get (unless we take our brother): So send our brother with us, that we may get our measure; and we will indeed take every care of him."
Or have they gods that can guard them from Us? They have no power to aid themselves, nor can they be defended from Us.

(These are) the ones who wait and watch about you: if ye do gain a victory from Allah, they say: "Were we not with you?"- but if the unbelievers gain a success, they say (to them): "Did we not gain an advantage over you, and did we not guard you from the believers?" but Allah will judge betwixt you on the Day of Judgment. And never will Allah grant to the unbelievers a way (to triumphs) over the believers.
But refuse (to supply) (even) neighbourly needs.
在初次放逐的时候,他曾将信奉《圣经》而不信《古兰经》的人从他们的家中驱逐出境。你们没有猜想到他们会退出去,他们猜想自己的堡垒能防御真主;但真主的刑罚,竟从他们料不到的地方降临他们。他将恐怖投在他们的心中,他们用自己的手和信士们的手拆毁自己的房屋。有眼光的人们啊!你们警惕吧!
四时不绝,可以随意摘食;
阻止人入清真寺去念诵真主的尊名,且图谋拆毁清真寺者,有谁比他们还不义呢?这等人,除非在惶恐之中,不宜进清真寺去。他们在今世将受辱,在後世将受重大的刑罚。
当正道降临众人的时候,妨碍他们信道的只是他们的这句话:”难道真主派遣一个凡人来做使者吗?”
当正道来临众人的时候,他们不信道,也不向他们的主求饶,那只是因为他们要等待(真主将)古人的常道显现于他们,或眼见刑罚来临他们。
他们的捐献之所以不被接受,只是因为他们不信仰真主及其使者,他们不做礼拜则已,但做礼拜时总是懒洋洋的;他们不捐献则已,捐献时总是不情愿的。
主说:“当我命令你叩头的时候,你为什么不叩头呢?”他说:“我比他优越,你用火造我,用泥造他。”
穆萨说:“哈伦啊!当你看见他们误入迷途的时候,是什么障碍,
主说:“易卜劣厮啊!你怎么不肯对我亲手造的人叩头呢?你自大呢?还是你本是高尚的呢?”
我不降示迹象,只为前人不承认它。我曾以母驼给赛莫德人做明证,但他们迫害(或虐待)它。我降迹象只是为了恫吓。
悭吝者、过分者、怀疑者、
吝啬的、过份的、犯罪的、
获得财富的时候是吝啬的。
他们回去见了他们的父亲,说:“我们的父亲啊!人家不准我们再籴粮了,请你派我们的弟弟和我们一同去,我们就能籴粮;我们一定把他保护好。”
除我之外,难道他们有许多神明保护他们吗?他们所崇拜的神明,不能自卫,他们对我(的刑罚)也不蒙庇护。

他们是期待你们遭遇灾难的。如果你们获得从真主发出的胜利,他们就说:“难道我们没有和你们在共同作战吗?”如果不信道者幸而战胜,他们就说:“难道我们没有战胜你们,并且使你们得免于信道者的征服吗?”故复活日真主将替你们判决,真主绝不让不信道者对信道的人有任何途径。
他们是不肯借人什物的。
