And who is more unjust than he who forbids that in places for the worship of Allah, Allah's name should be celebrated?-whose zeal is (in fact) to ruin them? It was not fitting that such should themselves enter them except in fear. For them there is nothing but disgrace in this world, and in the world to come, an exceeding torment.

What kept men back from belief when Guidance came to them, was nothing but this: they said, "Has Allah sent a man (like us) to be (His) Messenger?"

And what is there to keep back men from believing, now that Guidance has come to them, nor from praying for forgiveness from their Lord, but that (they ask that) the ways of the ancients be repeated with them, or the Wrath be brought to them face to face?

阻止人入清真寺去念诵真主的尊名，且图谋拆毁清真寺者，有谁比他们还不义呢？这等人，除非在惶恐之中，不宜进清真寺去。他们在今世将受辱，在後世将受重大的刑罚。

当正道降临众人的时候，妨碍他们信道的只是他们的这句话：”难道真主派遣一个凡人来做使者吗？”

当正道来临众人的时候，他们不信道，也不向他们的主求饶，那只是因为他们要等待（真主将）古人的常道显现于他们，或眼见刑罚来临他们。
