But if they have treacherous designs against thee, (O Messenger!), they have already been in treason against Allah, and so hath He given (thee) power over them. And Allah so He Who hath (full) knowledge and wisdom.

Thus did We give established power to Joseph in the land, to take possession therein as, when, or where he pleased. We bestow of our Mercy on whom We please, and We suffer not, to be lost, the reward of those who do good.

Then We placed him as (a drop of) sperm in a place of rest, firmly fixed;

The which We placed in a place of rest, firmly fixed,

Endued with Power, with rank before the Lord of the Throne,

So the king said: "Bring him unto me; I will take him specially to serve about my own person." Therefore when he had spoken to him, he said: "Be assured this day, thou art, before our own presence, with rank firmly established, and fidelity fully proved!

He said: "(The power) in which my Lord has established me is better (than tribute): Help me therefore with strength (and labour): I will erect a strong barrier between you and them:

The man in Egypt who bought him, said to his wife: "Make his stay (among us) honourable: may be he will bring us much good, or we shall adopt him as a son." Thus did We establish Joseph in the land, that We might teach him the interpretation of stories (and events). And Allah hath full power and control over His affairs; but most among mankind know it not.

Verily We established his power on earth, and We gave him the ways and the means to all ends.

See they not how many of those before them We did destroy?- generations We had established on the earth, in strength such as We have not given to you - for whom We poured out rain from the skies in abundance, and gave (fertile) streams flowing beneath their (feet): yet for their sins We destroyed them, and raised in their wake fresh generations (to succeed them).

(They are) those who, if We establish them in the land, establish regular prayer and give regular charity, enjoin the right and forbid wrong: with Allah rests the end (and decision) of (all) affairs.

And We had firmly established them in a (prosperity and) power which We have not given to you (ye Quraish!) and We had endowed them with (faculties of) hearing, seeing, heart and intellect: but of no profit to them were their (faculties of) hearing, sight, and heart and intellect, when they went on rejecting the Signs of Allah; and they were (completely) encircled by that which they used to mock at!

It is We Who have placed you with authority on earth, and provided you therein with means for the fulfilment of your life: small are the thanks that ye give!

They say: "If we were to follow the guidance with thee, we should be snatched away from our land." Have We not established for them a secure sanctuary, to which are brought as tribute fruits of all kinds,- a provision from Ourselves? but most of them understand not.

Allah has promised, to those among you who believe and work righteous deeds, that He will, of a surety, grant them in the land, inheritance (of power), as He granted it to those before them; that He will establish in authority their religion - the one which He has chosen for them; and that He will change (their state), after the fear in which they (lived), to one of security and peace: 'They will worship Me (alone) and not associate aught with Me. 'If any do reject Faith after this, they are rebellious and wicked.

To establish a firm place for them in the land, and to show Pharaoh, Haman, and their hosts, at their hands, the very things against which they were taking precautions.

如果他们想欺骗你，那末，他们以前对于真主确已表示欺骗了；但真主使你战胜他们。真主是全知的，至睿的。

我这样使优素福在国内获得权力，在他所要的地方占优势，我把我的慈恩降给我所意欲者，我不会让行善者徒劳无酬。

然后，我使他变成精液，在坚固的容器中的精液，

我把它放在一个坚固的安息之所，

他在宝座的主那里，是有权力的，是有地位的，

国王说：“你们带他来见我，我要使他为我自己所专有。”他对国王说话的时候，国王说：“今天你在我的御前确是有崇高品级的，是可以信任的人。”

他说：“我的主使我能够享受的，尤为优美。你们以人力扶助我，我就在你们和他们之间建筑一座壁垒。

那购买他的埃及人对自己的妻子说：“你应当优待他，他也许对我们有好处，或者我们抚养他做义子。”我这样使优素福在大地上获得地位，以便我教他圆梦。真主对于其事务是自主的，但人们大半不知道。

我确已使他在大地上得势，我赏赐他处理万事的途径。

难道他们不知道吗？在他们之前，我曾毁灭了许多世代，并且把没有赏赐你们的地位赏赐了他们，给他们以充足的雨水，使诸河流行在他们的下面。嗣后，我因他们的罪过而毁灭他们。在他们（灭亡）之后，我创造了别的世代。

如果我使那些人在地面上得势，他们将谨守拜功，完纳天课，劝善戒恶。 万事的结局只归真主。

我确已把没有赏赐你们的地位赏赐了他们，我曾赋予他们聪明睿智；但他们的聪明睿智，对于他们毫无裨益，因为他们否认真主的迹象，所以他们一向所嘲笑的刑罚降临他们了。

我确已使你们在大地上安居，并为你们在大地上设生活所需。你们很少感谢。

我确已把没有赏赐你们的地位赏赐了他们，我曾赋予他们聪明睿智；但他们的聪明睿智，对于他们毫无裨益，因为他们否认真主的迹象，所以他们一向所嘲笑的刑罚降临他们了。

难道他们不知道吗？在他们之前，我曾毁灭了许多世代，并且把没有赏赐你们的地位赏赐了他们，给他们以充足的雨水，使诸河流行在他们的下面。嗣后，我因他们的罪过而毁灭他们。在他们（灭亡）之后，我创造了别的世代。

他们说：“如果我们与你共同遵守正道，我们将被驱逐出境。”难道我没有为他们而设立一个安全的禁地吗？各种的果实，都贩运到禁地中来，那是从我降下的给养，但他们大半不知道。

真主应许你们中信道而且行善者（说）：他必使他们代他治理大地，正如他使在他们之前逝去者代他治理大地一样；他必为他们而巩固他所为他们嘉纳的宗教；他必以真主代替他们的恐怖。他们崇拜我而不以任何物配我。此后，凡不信道的，都是罪人。

我要使他们在大地上得势，我要昭示法老、哈曼和他们俩的军队，对于这些被欺负者的提防的事。
