O ye who believe! save yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is Men and Stones, over which are (appointed) angels stern (and) severe, who flinch not (from executing) the Commands they receive from Allah, but do (precisely) what they are commanded.

O ye who believe! Turn to Allah with sincere repentance: In the hope that your Lord will remove from you your ills and admit you to Gardens beneath which Rivers flow,- the Day that Allah will not permit to be humiliated the Prophet and those who believe with him. Their Light will run forward before them and by their right hands, while they say, "Our Lord! Perfect our Light for us, and grant us Forgiveness: for Thou hast power over all things."

O ye who believe! And Allah sets forth, as an example to those who believe the wife of Pharaoh: Behold she said: "O my Lord! Build for me, in nearness to Thee, a mansion in the Garden, and save me from Pharaoh and his doings, and save me from those that do wrong";

And We have set none but angels as Guardians of the Fire; and We have fixed their number only as a trial for Unbelievers,- in order that the People of the Book may arrive at certainty, and the Believers may increase in Faith,- and that no doubts may be left for the People of the Book and the Believers, and that those in whose hearts is a disease and the Unbelievers may say, "What symbol doth Allah intend by this?" Thus doth Allah leave to stray whom He pleaseth, and guide whom He pleaseth: and none can know the forces of thy Lord, except He and this is no other than a warning to mankind.

Those in sin used to laugh at those who believed,

But on this Day the Believers will laugh at the Unbelievers:

Except to those who believe and work righteous deeds: For them is a Reward that will never fail.

For those who believe and do righteous deeds, will be Gardens; beneath which rivers flow: That is the great Salvation, (the fulfilment of all desires),

Then will he be of those who believe, and enjoin patience, (constancy, and self-restraint), and enjoin deeds of kindness and compassion.

Except such as believe and do righteous deeds: For they shall have a reward unfailing.

Those who have faith and do righteous deeds,- they are the best of creatures.

Except such as have Faith, and do righteous deeds, and (join together) in the mutual teaching of Truth, and of Patience and Constancy.

信道的人们啊！你们当为自身和家属而预防那以人和石为燃料的火刑，主持火刑的，是许多残忍而严厉的天神，他们不违抗真主的命令，他们执行自己所奉的训令。

信道的人们啊！你们当向真主诚意悔罪，你们的主或许免除你们的罪恶，并且使你们入下临诸河的乐园。在那日，真主不凌辱先知，和与他一起信道的人们。他们的光明，将在他们的前面和右边奔驰，他们将说：“我们的主啊！求你完成给我们的光明，求你赦宥我们。你对於万事是全能的。”

信道的人们啊！你们当向真主诚意悔罪，你们的主或许免除你们的罪恶，并且使你们入下临诸河的乐园。在那日，真主不凌辱先知，和与他一起信道的人们。他们的光明，将在他们的前面和右边奔驰，他们将说：“我们的主啊！求你完成给我们的光明，求你赦宥我们。你对於万事是全能的。”

真主以法老的妻子，为信道的人们的模范。当时，她曾说：“我的主啊！求你在你那里，为我建筑一所房子在乐园里。求你拯救我脱离法老，和他的罪行。求你拯救我脱离不义的民众。”

我只将管理火狱的成天神，我只以他们的数目，考验不信道的人们，以便曾受天经的人们认清，而信道的人们更加笃信；以免曾受天经的人们和信道的人们怀疑；以便心中有病者和不信道者说：“真主设这个譬喻做什么？”真主这样使他所意欲的人误入迷途，使他所意欲的人遵循正路。只有你的主，能知道他的军队，这只是人类的教训。

犯罪的人们常常嘲笑信士们，

故今日信士们，嘲笑不信道的人们，

惟信道而且行善的人们，将受不断的报酬。

信道而且行善的人们，必入下临诸河的乐园，那确是伟大的成功。

同时，他是一个信道而且行善，并以坚忍相勉，以慈悯相助者。

但信道而且行善者,将受不断的报酬。

信道而行善的人，是最善的人，

惟信道而且行善，并以真理相劝，以坚忍相勉的人则不然。
