They ask thee concerning the New Moons. Say: They are but signs to mark fixed periods of time in (the affairs of) men, and for Pilgrimage. It is no virtue if ye enter your houses from the back: It is virtue if ye fear Allah. Enter houses through the proper doors: And fear Allah: That ye may prosper.

When she was delivered, she said: "O my Lord! Behold! I am delivered of a female child!"- and Allah knew best what she brought forth- "And no wise is the male Like the female. I have named her Mary, and I commend her and her offspring to Thy protection from the Evil One, the Rejected."

Call them by (the names of) their fathers: that is juster in the sight of Allah. But if ye know not their father's (names, call them) your Brothers in faith, or your maulas. But there is no blame on you if ye make a mistake therein: (what counts is) the intention of your hearts: and Allah is Oft-Returning, Most Merciful.

"If any does not hearken to the one who invites (us) to Allah, he cannot frustrate (Allah's Plan) on earth, and no protectors can he have besides Allah: such men (wander) in manifest error."

Secret counsels are only (inspired) by the Evil One, in order that he may cause grief to the Believers; but he cannot harm them in the least, except as Allah permits; and on Allah let the Believers put their trust.

他们询问新月的情状，你说：“新月是人事和朝觐的时计。”正义绝不是从房屋後面穿洞进去，但正义是敬畏。你们当从门户走进房屋，当敬畏真主，以便你们成功。

当她生了一个女孩的时候，她说：“我确已生了一个女孩。”真主是知道她所生的孩子的。男孩不象女孩一样。”我确已把她叫做麦尔彦，求你保佑她和她的后裔，免受被弃绝的恶魔的搔扰。”

你们应当以他们的父亲的姓氏称呼他们，在真主看来，这是更公平的。如果你们不知道他们的父亲是谁，那末，他们是你们的教胞和亲友。你们所误犯的事，对于你们没有罪过，你们所故犯的事，就不然了。真主是至赦的，是至慈的。

不应答真主号召者的人，在大地上绝不能逃避天谴，除真主外，他们绝无保护者，这等人是在明显的迷误中的。”

关於罪恶的密谈，只是由於恶魔的诱惑，他欲使信道者忧愁，不得真主的许可，他绝不能伤害他们一丝毫；教信士们只信托真主吧。
