(Their bearings) on this life and the Hereafter. They ask thee concerning orphans. Say: "The best thing to do is what is for their good; if ye mix their affairs with yours, they are your brethren; but Allah knows the man who means mischief from the man who means good. And if Allah had wished, He could have put you into difficulties: He is indeed Exalted in Power, Wise."

But (even so), if they repent, establish regular prayers, and practise regular charity,- they are your brethren in Faith: (thus) do We explain the Signs in detail, for those who understand.

Call them by (the names of) their fathers: that is juster in the sight of Allah. But if ye know not their father's (names, call them) your Brothers in faith, or your maulas. But there is no blame on you if ye make a mistake therein: (what counts is) the intention of your hearts: and Allah is Oft-Returning, Most Merciful.

他们问你怎样待遇孤儿，你说：“为他们改善他们的事务是更好的。如果你们与他们合伙，那末，（你们应当记取）他们是你们的教胞。真主能辨别破坏的人和改善的人。假若真主意欲，他必使你们烦难。”真主确是万能的，确是至睿的。

如果他们悔过自新，谨守拜功，完纳天课，他们就是你们的教胞。我为有知识的民众解释许多迹象。

你们应当以他们的父亲的姓氏称呼他们，在真主看来，这是更公平的。如果你们不知道他们的父亲是谁，那末，他们是你们的教胞和亲友。你们所误犯的事，对于你们没有罪过，你们所故犯的事，就不然了。真主是至赦的，是至慈的。
