Call them by (the names of) their fathers: that is juster in the sight of Allah. But if ye know not their father's (names, call them) your Brothers in faith, or your maulas. But there is no blame on you if ye make a mistake therein: (what counts is) the intention of your hearts: and Allah is Oft-Returning, Most Merciful.

Truly they found their fathers on the wrong Path;

Thou wilt not find any people who believe in Allah and the Last Day, loving those who resist Allah and His Messenger, even though they were their fathers or their sons, or their brothers, or their kindred. For such He has written Faith in their hearts, and strengthened them with a spirit from Himself. And He will admit them to Gardens beneath which Rivers flow, to dwell therein (for ever). Allah will be well pleased with them, and they with Him. They are the Party of Allah. Truly it is the Party of Allah that will achieve Felicity.

你们应当以他们的父亲的姓氏称呼他们，在真主看来，这是更公平的。如果你们不知道他们的父亲是谁，那末，他们是你们的教胞和亲友。你们所误犯的事，对于你们没有罪过，你们所故犯的事，就不然了。真主是至赦的，是至慈的。

他们必定会发现他们的祖先是迷误的，

你不会发现确信真主和末日的民众，会与违抗真主和使者的人相亲相爱，即使那等人是他们的父亲，或儿子，或兄弟，或亲戚。这等人，真主曾将正信铭刻在他们的心上，并且以从他降下的精神援助他们。他将使他们入下临诸河的乐园，而永居其中。真主喜悦他们，他们也喜悦他。这等人是真主的党羽，真的，真主的党羽确是成功的。
