O ye who believe! when ye prepare for prayer, wash your faces, and your hands (and arms) to the elbows; Rub your heads (with water); and (wash) your feet to the ankles. If ye are in a state of ceremonial impurity, bathe your whole body. But if ye are ill, or on a journey, or one of you cometh from offices of nature, or ye have been in contact with women, and ye find no water, then take for yourselves clean sand or earth, and rub therewith your faces and hands, Allah doth not wish to place you in a difficulty, but to make you clean, and to complete his favour to you, that ye may be grateful.

"Be sure I will cut off your hands and your feet on apposite sides, and I will cause you all to die on the cross."

(Pharaoh) said: "Believe ye in Him before I give you permission? Surely this must be your leader, who has taught you magic! be sure I will cut off your hands and feet on opposite sides, and I will have you crucified on trunks of palm-trees: so shall ye know for certain, which of us can give the more severe and the more lasting punishment!"

Said (Pharaoh): "Believe ye in Him before I give you permission? surely he is your leader, who has taught you sorcery! but soon shall ye know! Be sure I will cut off your hands and your feet on opposite sides, and I will cause you all to die on the cross!"

信道的人们啊!当你们起身去礼拜的时候,你们当洗脸和手,洗至于两肘,当摩头,当洗脚,洗至两踝。如果你们是不洁的，你们就当洗周身。如果你们害病或旅行，或从厕所来，或与妇女交接，而得不到水，你们就当趋向清洁的地面，而用一部分土摩脸和手。真主不欲使你们烦难，但他欲使你们清洁，并完成他所赐你们的恩典，以便你们感谢。

我一定要交互著砍掉你们的手脚，然后，我必定把你们统统钉死在十字架上。

法老说：“在我允许你们之前，你们就信奉他们了吗？他必定是你们的头子，他把魔术传授你们，所以我誓必交互着砍掉你们的手和脚， 我誓必把你们钉死在椰枣树干上，你们必定知道我们俩谁的刑罚更严厉，更长久。”

法老说：“我还没有允许你们，你们就信仰他们了吗？他必是你们的头目，他传授你们的魔术，你们不久就知道，我必交互着砍你们的手和脚，我必将你们全体钉在十字架上。”
