O ye who believe! Give of the good things which ye have (honourably) earned, and of the fruits of the earth which We have produced for you, and do not even aim at getting anything which is bad, in order that out of it ye may give away something, when ye yourselves would not receive it except with closed eyes. And know that Allah is Free of all wants, and worthy of all praise.

They said: "Dost thou wonder at Allah's decree? The grace of Allah and His blessings on you, o ye people of the house! for He is indeed worthy of all praise, full of all glory!"

And Moses said: "If ye show ingratitude, ye and all on earth together, yet is Allah free of all wants, worthy of all praise.

we bestowed (in the past) Wisdom on Luqman: "Show (thy) gratitude to Allah." Any who is (so) grateful does so to the profit of his own soul: but if any is ungrateful, verily Allah is free of all wants, Worthy of all praise.

That was because there came to them messengers with Clear Signs, but they said: "Shall (mere) human beings direct us?" So they rejected (the Message) and turned away. But Allah can do without (them): and Allah is free of all needs, worthy of all praise.

信道的人们啊！你们当分舍自己所获得的美品，和我为你们从地下出产的物品；不要择取那除非闭著眼睛，连你们自己也不愿收受的劣质物品，用以施舍。你们当知道真主是自足的，是可颂的。

他们说：“难道你对真主的命令感到惊讶吗？愿真主的怜悯和幸福降临你们全家，他确是可赞的，确是光荣的。”

穆萨说：“如果你们和大地上的人统统都忘恩负义，（也无损于真主），因为真主确是无求的，确是可颂的。”

我确已把智慧赏赐鲁格曼，（我说）：“你当感谢真主。感谢的人，只为自己而感谢，孤负的人，须知真主确是无求的，确是可颂的。”

这是因为他们族中的使者显示他们许多明证，他们却说：“难道凡人也能引道我们？”故他们不信道而违背之。真主曾表示无求於他们的信仰，真主是无求的，是可颂的。
