ولقد
And verily,
اتينا
We gave
لقمان
Luqman
الحكمة
the wisdom
ان
that,
اشكر
'Be grateful
لله
to Allah.'
ومن
And whoever
يشكر
(is) grateful
فانما
then only
يشكر
he is grateful
لنفسه
for himself.
ومن
And whoever
كفر
(is) ungrateful,
فان
then indeed,
الله
Allah
غني
(is) Free of need,
حميد
Praiseworthy.
we bestowed (in the past) Wisdom on Luqman: "Show (thy) gratitude to Allah." Any who is (so) grateful does so to the profit of his own soul: but if any is ungrateful, verily Allah is free of all wants, Worthy of all praise.
我确已把智慧赏赐鲁格曼,(我说):“你当感谢真主。感谢的人,只为自己而感谢,孤负的人,须知真主确是无求的,确是可颂的。”
