O ye who believe! If ye listen to a faction among the People of the Book, they would (indeed) render you apostates after ye have believed!

Some people before you did ask such questions, and on that account lost their faith.

"O ye assembly of Jinns and men! came there not unto you messengers from amongst you, setting forth unto you My signs, and warning you of the meeting of this Day of yours?" They will say: "We bear witness against ourselves." It was the life of this world that deceived them. So against themselves will they bear witness that they rejected Faith.

Who is more unjust than one who invents a lie against Allah or rejects His Signs? For such, their portion appointed must reach them from the Book (of decrees): until, when our messengers (of death) arrive and take their souls, they say: "Where are the things that ye used to invoke besides Allah?" They will reply, "They have left us in the lurch," And they will bear witness against themselves, that they had rejected Allah.

So Shu'aib left them, saying: "O my people! I did indeed convey to you the messages for which I was sent by my Lord: I gave you good counsel, but how shall I lament over a people who refuse to believe!"

And he diverted her from the worship of others besides Allah: for she was (sprung) of a people that had no faith.

No intercessor will they have among their "Partners" and they will (themselves) reject their "Partners".

And when mankind are gathered together (at the Resurrection), they will be hostile to them and reject their worship (altogether)!

信道的人们啊！如果你们顺从曾受天经的一部分人，那末，他们将使你们在信道之后变成不信道的人。

在你们之前，有一些民众，曾询问过此类问题，嗣后，他们因此而变成不信道的人。

”精灵和人类的群众啊！难道你们同族中的使者没有来对你们叙述我的迹象，并警告你们将有今日的会见吗？”他们说：“我们已招认了。”尘世的生活欺骗了他们，他将招认自己原是不信道的。

假借真主的名义而造谣，或否认其迹象者，有谁比他们还不义呢？这等人将遭遇天经中为他们预定的命运，直到我的众使者来使他们死亡的时候，将对他们说：“你们从前舍真主而祈祷的（偶像），现在哪里呢？”他们将说：“他们已回避我们了。”他们将要承认自己原是不信道者。

于是，他离开他们，并且说：“我的宗族啊！我确已把我的主的使命传达给你们了，并向你们提出了忠告。我怎能哀悼不信道的民众呢！”

她舍真主而崇拜的，妨碍她，她本是属于不信道的民众。

他们的配主中，将来没有为他们说情的，他们将否认他们的配主。

当众人被集合的时候，那些被崇拜的，要变成那些崇拜者的仇敌，并且否认自己曾受过他们的崇拜。
