O Prophet! We have made lawful to thee thy wives to whom thou hast paid their dowers; and those whom thy right hand possesses out of the prisoners of war whom Allah has assigned to thee; and daughters of thy paternal uncles and aunts, and daughters of thy maternal uncles and aunts, who migrated (from Makka) with thee; and any believing woman who dedicates her soul to the Prophet if the Prophet wishes to wed her;- this only for thee, and not for the Believers (at large); We know what We have appointed for them as to their wives and the captives whom their right hands possess;- in order that there should be no difficulty for thee. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

It is no fault in the blind nor in one born lame, nor in one afflicted with illness, nor in yourselves, that ye should eat in your own houses, or those of your fathers, or your mothers, or your brothers, or your sisters, or your father's brothers or your father's sisters, or your mohter's brothers, or your mother's sisters, or in houses of which the keys are in your possession, or in the house of a sincere friend of yours: there is no blame on you, whether ye eat in company or separately. But if ye enter houses, salute each other - a greeting of blessing and purity as from Allah. Thus does Allah make clear the signs to you: that ye may understand.

Prohibited to you (For marriage) are:- Your mothers, daughters, sisters; father's sisters, Mother's sisters; brother's daughters, sister's daughters; foster-mothers (Who gave you suck), foster-sisters; your wives' mothers; your step-daughters under your guardianship, born of your wives to whom ye have gone in,- no prohibition if ye have not gone in;- (Those who have been) wives of your sons proceeding from your loins; and two sisters in wedlock at one and the same time, except for what is past; for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful;-

先知啊！我确已准你享受你给予聘礼的妻子，你的奴婢，即真主以为你的战利品的，你的从父的女儿．你的姑母的女儿．你的舅父的女儿．你的姨母的女儿．她们是同你一道迁居的。信道的妇女，若将自身赠与先知，若先知愿意娶她，这是特许你的，信士们不得援例--我知道我为他们的妻子与奴婢而对他们做出的规定--以免你感受困难。真主是至赦的，是至慈的。

与人同席，对于盲人是无罪过的，对于瘸子是无罪过的，对于病人也是无罪过的。无论在你自己的家里，或在你们父亲的家里，或在你们母亲的家里，或在你们弟兄的家里，或在你们姐妹的家里，或在你们的叔伯的家里，或在你们的姑母的家里，或在你们舅父的家里，或在你们姨母的家里，或在有你们管理钥匙者的家里，或在你们朋友的家里，你们饮食，对于你们是无罪的。你们聚餐或分食，对于你们都是无罪的。你们进家的时候，你们当对自己祝安--真主所制定的、吉祥而优美的祝词。真主这样为你们阐明一切迹象，以便你们了解。

真主严禁你们娶你们的母亲、女儿、姐妹、姑母、姨母、侄女、外甥女、 乳母、同乳姐妹、岳母、以及你们所抚育的继女，即你们曾与她们的母亲同房的，如果你们与她们的母亲没有同房，那末，你们无妨娶她们。真主还严禁你们娶你们亲生儿子的媳妇，和同时娶两姐妹，但已往的不受惩罚。真主确是至赦的，确是至慈的。
