Would ye question your Messenger as Moses was questioned of old? but whoever changeth from Faith to Unbelief, Hath strayed without doubt from the even way.

It is not fitting for a prophet that he should have prisoners of war until he hath thoroughly subdued the land. Ye look for the temporal goods of this world; but Allah looketh to the Hereafter: And Allah is Exalted in might, Wise.

Their messengers said: "Is there a doubt about Allah, The Creator of the heavens and the earth? It is He Who invites you, in order that He may forgive you your sins and give you respite for a term appointed!" They said: "Ah! ye are no more than human, like ourselves! Ye wish to turn us away from the (gods) our fathers used to worship: then bring us some clear authority."

That which ye lay out for increase through the property of (other) people, will have no increase with Allah: but that which ye lay out for charity, seeking the Countenance of Allah, (will increase): it is these who will get a recompense multiplied.

"Is it a falsehood- gods other than Allah- that ye desire?

你们想请问你们的使者，像以前他们请问穆萨一样吗？以正信换取迷误的人，确已迷失正道了。

先知在大地上重惩敌人之前，不该有俘虏。你们欲得尘世的浮利，而真主愿你们得享后世的报酬。真主是万能的，是至睿的。

他们族中的使者说：“难道对于真主--天地的创造者--还有怀疑吗？他号召你们行善，以便他饶恕你们的罪过，并对你们缓刑到一个定期。”他们说：“你们只是像我们一样的凡人，你们欲阻止我们崇拜我们的祖先所崇拜的（偶像），你们昭示我们一个明证吧！”

你们为吃利而放的债，欲在他人的财产中增加的，在真主那里，不会增加；你们所施的财物，欲得真主的喜悦的，必得加倍的报酬。

难道你们欲舍真主而悖谬地崇拜许多神灵吗？
