Allah forgiveth not that partners should be set up with Him; but He forgiveth anything else, to whom He pleaseth; to set up partners with Allah is to devise a sin Most heinous indeed.

Allah forgiveth not (The sin of) joining other gods with Him; but He forgiveth whom He pleaseth other sins than this: one who joins other gods with Allah, Hath strayed far, far away (from the right).

We broke them up into sections on this earth. There are among them some that are the righteous, and some that are the opposite. We have tried them with both prosperity and adversity: In order that they might turn (to us).

And of the evil ones, were some who dived for him, and did other work besides; and it was We Who guarded them.

And indeed We will make them taste of the Penalty of this (life) prior to the supreme Penalty, in order that they may (repent and) return.

"Is it a falsehood- gods other than Allah- that ye desire?

And verily, for those who do wrong, there is another punishment besides this: But most of them understand not.

'There are among us some that are righteous, and some the contrary: we follow divergent paths.

真主必不赦宥以物配主的罪恶，他为自己所意欲的人而赦宥比这差一等的罪过。谁以物配主，谁已犯大罪了。

真主必不赦宥以物配主的罪恶， 他为自己所意欲的人赦宥比这差一等的罪过，谁以物配主，谁已深陷迷误了。

我曾使他们散处四方，成为若干派别，他们中有善人，有次于善人的，我用种种祸福考验他们，以便他们觉悟。

我又替他制服一部分恶魔，他们替他潜水，并且做其它工作， 我是监督他们的。

在最大的刑罚之前，我必使他们尝试最近的刑罚，以便他们悔悟。

难道你们欲舍真主而悖谬地崇拜许多神灵吗？

不义的人们，在那日之前，必定要受一种刑罚，但他们大半不知道。

我们中有善良的，有次於善良的，我们是分为许多派别的。
