It is He Who hath produced you from a single person: here is a place of sojourn and a place of departure: We detail Our signs for people who understand.

Thy Lord is self-sufficient, full of Mercy: if it were His will, He could destroy you, and in your place appoint whom He will as your successors, even as He raised you up from the posterity of other people.

To the Thamud People (We sent) Salih, one of their own brethren. He said: "O my people! Worship Allah: ye have no other god but Him. It is He Who hath produced you from the earth and settled you therein: then ask forgiveness of Him, and turn to Him (in repentance): for my Lord is (always) near, ready to answer."

Those who avoid great sins and shameful deeds, only (falling into) small faults,- verily thy Lord is ample in forgiveness. He knows you well when He brings you out of the earth, And when ye are hidden in your mothers' wombs. Therefore justify not yourselves: He knows best who it is that guards against evil.

Say: "It is He Who has created you (and made you grow), and made for you the faculties of hearing, seeing, feeling and understanding: little thanks it is ye give.

他从－个人创造你们，然后，你们有住宿的地方，有寄存的地方，我已为能了解的民众解释了一切迹象。

你的主是自足的，是仁慈的。如果他意欲，他就使你们消逝，而以他所意欲的人继承你们，犹如从别的民族的后裔中使你们兴起一样。

我确已派遣赛莫德人的弟兄撒立哈去教化他们，他说：“我的宗族啊！你们应当崇拜真主，除他外，绝无应受你们崇拜的。他用地上的土创造你们，并使你们在大地上居住，故你们应当向他求饶，然后归依他。我的主确是临近的，确是有求必应的。”

远离大罪和丑事，但犯小罪者，你的主确是宽宥的。当他从大地创造你们的时候，当你们是在母腹中的胎儿的时候，他是全知你们的；所以你们不要自称清白，他是全知敬畏者的。

你说：“他是创造你们，并为你们创造耳、目和心的。你们却很少感谢。”
