They said,
`We give you glad tidings
in truth,
so (do) not
be
of
the dspairing.`
And He
(is) the One Who
sends down
the rain
after
[what]
they have despaired,
and spreads
His mercy.
And He
(is) the Protector,
the Praiseworthy.
(Does) not
get tired
man
of
praying
(for) the good,
but if
touches him
the evil
tehn he gives up hope
(and) despairs.
Say,
'O My slaves!
Those who
have transgressed
against
themselves,
(do) not
despair
of
(the) Mercy
(of) Allah.
Indeed,
Allah
forgives
the sins
all.
Indeed He,
He
(is) the Oft-Forgiving,
the Most Merciful.
Say,

He said,
`And who
despairs
of
(the) Mercy
(of) his Lord
except
those who are astray.`
And when
We cause men to taste
mercy,
they rejoice
therein.
But if
afflicts them
an evil
for what
have sent forth
their hands,
behold!
They
despair.
They said: "We give thee glad tidings in truth: be not then in despair!"
He is the One that sends down rain (even) after (men) have given up all hope, and scatters His Mercy (far and wide). And He is the Protector, Worthy of all Praise.
Man does not weary of asking for good (things), but if ill touches him, he gives up all hope (and) is lost in despair.
Say: "O my Servants who have transgressed against their souls! Despair not of the Mercy of Allah: for Allah forgives all sins: for He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

He said: "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord, but such as go astray?"
When We give men a taste of Mercy, they exult thereat: and when some evil afflicts them because of what their (own) hands have sent forth, behold, they are in despair!
他们说：“我们凭真理而向你报喜，所以你不要绝望。”
他在他们绝望之后，降下时雨，广施了他的恩惠，他确是保护者，确是可颂的。
人祈福不厌，一遭祸患就灰心绝望。
（你说：）“我的过分自害的众仆呀！你们对真主的恩惠不要绝望，真主必定赦宥一切罪过，他确是至赦的，确是至慈的。

他说：“除迷误者外，谁会绝望于真主的恩惠呢？”
当我使人们尝试恩惠的时候，他们就为那件恩惠而沾沾自喜；如果他们因为曾经犯罪而遭难，他们立刻就绝望了。
