Allah made it but a message of hope for you, and an assurance to your hearts: (in any case) there is no help except from Allah. The Exalted, the Wise:

When Moses came to the place appointed by Us, and his Lord addressed him, He said: "O my Lord! show (Thyself) to me, that I may look upon thee." Allah said: "By no means canst thou see Me (direct); But look upon the mount; if it abide in its place, then shalt thou see Me." When his Lord manifested His glory on the Mount, He made it as dust. And Moses fell down in a swoon. When he recovered his senses he said: "Glory be to Thee! to Thee I turn in repentance, and I am the first to believe."

Allah made it but a message of hope, and an assurance to your hearts: (in any case) there is no help except from Allah: and Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise.

"Bring me blocks of iron." At length, when he had filled up the space between the two steep mountain-sides, He said, "Blow (with your bellows)" Then, when he had made it (red) as fire, he said: "Bring me, that I may pour over it, molten lead."

He said: "This is a mercy from my Lord: But when the promise of my Lord comes to pass, He will make it into dust; and the promise of my Lord is true."

真主只以这应许对你们报喜，以便你们的心境因此而安定。援助只是从万能的、至睿的真主那里降下的。

当穆萨为了我的会期而来，而且他的主对他说了话的时候，他说：“我的主啊！求你昭示我，以便我看见你。”主说：“你不能看见我，但你看那座山吧。如果它能在它的本位上坚定，那末，你就能看见我。”当他的主对那座山微露光华的时候，他使那座山变成粉碎的。穆萨晕倒在地上。当他苏醒的时候，他说：“我赞颂你超绝万物，我向你悔罪，我是首先信道的。”

真主只以这个答覆向你们报喜，以便你们的心境因此而安定。援助只是从真主那里发出的。真主确是万能的，确是至睿的。

你们拿铁块来给我吧。”到了他堆满两山之间的时候，他说：“你们拉风箱吧。”到了他使铁块红如火焰的时候，他说：“你们拿溶铜来给我，我就把它倾注在壁垒上。”

他说：“这是从我的主降下的恩惠，当我的主的应许降临的时候，他将使这壁垒化为平地。我的主的应许是真实的。”
