For thy Lord is (as a Guardian) on a watch-tower.

But when the forbidden months are past, then fight and slay the Pagans wherever ye find them, an seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war); but if they repent, and establish regular prayers and practise regular charity, then open the way for them: for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.

Truly Hell is as a place of ambush,

'We used, indeed, to sit there in (hidden) stations, to (steal) a hearing; but any who listen now will find a flaming fire watching him in ambush.

"Except a messenger whom He has chosen: and then He makes a band of watchers march before him and behind him,

And there are those who put up a mosque by way of mischief and infidelity - to disunite the Believers - and in preparation for one who warred against Allah and His Messenger aforetime. They will indeed swear that their intention is nothing but good; But Allah doth declare that they are certainly liars.

你的主，确是监视的。

当禁月逝去的时候，你们在哪里发现以物配主者，就在那里杀戮他们，俘虏他们，围攻他们，在各个要隘侦候他们。如果他们悔过自新，谨守拜功，完纳天课，你们就放走他们。真主确是至赦的，确是至慈的。

火狱确是伺候著，

过去，我们为窃听而常常坐在天上可坐的地方。现在谁去窃听，谁就发现一颗灿烂的星宿在等著他。

除非他所喜悦的使者，因为他派遣卫队，在使者的前面和后面行走，

还有一些人，修建了一座清真寺，其目的是妨害和睦，加强不信，分离信士，并作为以前违抗真主及其使者的人的埋伏所，他们必定发誓说：“我们的宗旨是至善的。”真主作证：他们确是撒谎的。
