For them is a penalty in the life of this world, but harder, truly, is the penalty of the Hereafter: and defender have they none against Allah.

And thus do We recompense him who transgresses beyond bounds and believes not in the Signs of his Lord: and the Penalty of the Hereafter is far more grievous and more enduring.

So Allah gave them a taste of humiliation in the present life, but greater is the punishment of the Hereafter, if they only knew!

So We sent against them a furious Wind through days of disaster, that We might give them a taste of a Penalty of humiliation in this life; but the Penalty of a Hereafter will be more humiliating still: and they will find no help.

Such is the Punishment (in this life); but greater is the Punishment in the Hereafter,- if only they knew!

他们在今世将受惩罚，后世的惩罚确是更严厉的。他们绝无任何保卫者以抗拒真主。

凡行为过分而且不信主的迹象者，我都要给他同样的报酬。 后世的刑罚，确是更严厉的，确是更常存的。

真主使他们在今世尝试凌辱，而后世的刑罚必定是更重大的。假若他们知道……

我使暴风在若干凶日里伤害他们，使他们在今世生活中尝试凌辱的刑罚，而后世的刑罚，确是更凌辱的，他们将不获援助。

刑罚就是那样的。后世的刑罚确是更重大的，假如他们知道。
