Thus have we sent thee amongst a People before whom (long since) have (other) Peoples (gone and) passed away; in order that thou mightest rehearse unto them what We send down unto thee by inspiration; yet do they reject (Him), the Most Gracious! Say: "He is my Lord! There is no god but He! On Him is my trust, and to Him do I turn!"

She said: "I seek refuge from thee to (Allah) Most Gracious: (come not near) if thou dost fear Allah."

And were it not that (all) men might become of one (evil) way of life, We would provide, for everyone that blasphemes against (Allah) Most Gracious, silver roofs for their houses and (silver) stair-ways on which to go up,

我这样派遣你去教化一个民族，在他们之前有许多民族确已逝去了，以便你对他们宣读我所启示你的经典，他们是不信至仁主的。你说：“他是我的主，除他之外，绝无应受崇拜的。我只信托他，我只以他为依归。”

她说：“我的确求庇于至仁主，免遭你的侵犯，如果你是敬畏的。”

若不是为防世人变为一教，我必使不信至仁主的人们的房屋变成有银顶的，和银梯的，以便他们登临其上；
