And when
Musa asked for water
for his people,
[so] We said,
'Strike
with your staff
the stone.'
Then gushed forth
from it
springs.
all
(the people)
their drinking place.
from
the provision of
Allah,
and (do) not
act wickedly
the earth
spreading corruption.'
Certainly,
(there) was
for Saba
their dwelling place
a sign:
Tow gardens
(the) right
and (on the) left.
from
(the) provision
(of) your Lord
and be grateful
to Him.
A land
and a Lord
Oft-Forgiving.
And remember Moses prayed for water for his people; We said: "Strike the rock with thy staff." Then gushed forth therefrom twelve springs. Each group knew its own place for water. So eat and drink of the sustenance provided by Allah, and do no evil nor mischief on the (face of the) earth.
There was, for Saba, aforetime, a Sign in their home-land - two Gardens to the right and to the left. "Eat of the Sustenance (provided) by your Lord, and be grateful to Him: a territory fair and happy, and a Lord Oft-Forgiving!
当时,穆萨替他的宗族祈水,我说:“你用手杖打那磐石吧。”十二道水泉,就从那磐石里涌出来,各部落都知道自己的饮水处。你们可以吃饮真主的给养,你们不要在地方上为非作歹。
赛伯邑族,在他们的居处,确有一种迹象:两个园圃,分列左右。”你们可以吃你们的主的给养,你们要感谢他。一个肥美的地方,一个至赦的主宰。”
