O ye who believe! fulfil (all) obligations. Lawful unto you (for food) are all four-footed animals, with the exceptions named: But animals of the chase are forbidden while ye are in the sacred precincts or in pilgrim garb: for Allah doth command according to His will and plan.

O ye who believe! Allah doth but make a trial of you in a little matter of game well within reach of game well within reach of your hands and your lances, that He may test who feareth him unseen: any who transgress thereafter, will have a grievous penalty.

信道的人们啊!你们当履行各种约言。除将对你们宣读者外，准许你们吃一切牲畜，但受戒期间，或在禁地境内，不要猎取飞禽走兽。真主必定判决他所欲判决的。

信道的人们啊!真主必以你们的手和枪所能猎取的若干飞禽走兽考验你们，以便真主知道谁在背地里畏惧他。此后，谁超越法度，谁将受痛苦的刑罚。
