When those who gave partners to Allah will see their "partners", they will say: "Our Lord! these are our 'partners,' those whom we used to invoke besides Thee." But they will throw back their word at them (and say): "Indeed ye are liars!"

They will say: "Glory to Thee! not meet was it for us that we should take for protectors others besides Thee: But Thou didst bestow, on them and their fathers, good things (in life), until they forgot the Message: for they were a people (worthless and) lost."

当以物配主者看见他们的配主的时候，他们将要说：“我们的主啊！这些是我们的配主，我们曾舍你而祈祷他们。”那些配主将回答他们说：“你们确是说谎的。”

他们说：“我们赞颂你超绝万物，我们不该舍你而敬事任何神灵。但你曾使他们及其祖先享乐，直到他们遗忘了记念，他们原是灭亡的民众。”
