When a Sura comes down, enjoining them to believe in Allah and to strive and fight along with His Messenger, those with wealth and influence among them ask thee for exemption, and say: "Leave us (behind): we would be with those who sit (at home)."

Who forgiveth sin, accepteth repentance, is strict in punishment, and hath a long reach (in all things). there is no god but He: to Him is the final goal.

如果降示一章经说：“你们要信仰真主，要同使者一道奋斗”，他们中的富裕者就要向你请假，他们说：“你让我们与安坐家中的人在一起吧！”

赦宥罪过、准人忏悔、严厉惩罚、博施恩惠的主。除他外，绝无应受崇拜的；他确是最后的归宿。
