then We seized them
with adversity
and hardship
so that they
might humble themselves.
And not
We sent

a city

Prophet
except
We seized
its people
with adversity
and hardship,
so that they may
become humble.
Before thee We sent (messengers) to many nations, and We afflicted the nations with suffering and adversity, that they might learn humility.
