And when
are recited
to him
Our Verses,
he turns away
arrogantly
as if
not
he (had) heard them,
as if
in
his ears
(is) deafness.
So give him tidings
of a punishment
painful.
When Our Signs are rehearsed to such a one, he turns away in arrogance, as if he heard them not, as if there were deafness in both his ears: announce to him a grievous Penalty.
有人对他宣读我的迹象的时候，他自大地退避，仿佛没有听见一样，仿佛他的两耳重听一样。你以痛苦的刑罚，向他报喜吧。
